'Staff Associate' and 'Staff Visiting' accounts with the same rights and privileges as staff accounts (email only) are available to non-staff. These accounts are not linked to the central University of Queensland staff records. Individuals with non-staff accounts can access the network provided they formally agree to the UQ standards and policies, e.g. Internet Code of Practice. Any Internet charges accrued will be charged to the organizational unit the person is associated with.

To apply for a non-staff account please complete the following form and submit to Client Services. New accounts are typically created within 24 hours.
To apply select either 'Associate Staff' or 'Visiting Staff', then complete the remaining sections of the form as appropriate. (Note: the username and password provided with this account will also allow general network access from within the University).
