Procedure

  1. Only use original Answer Sheets [provided by UQ Examinations], to fill in both the correct Answer Sheet and the student answers.
  2. Fill in the correct Answer Sheet with the required number of responses, with only one correct answer. Fill in the Course Code and write 'Answers' in the surname field. You cannot have 2 correct answers for one question. You either leave out the question, choose one answer and get the relevant reports to make the manual changes, or give everyone a mark.
  3. You must however start at your exam at question 1, then continue sequentially for example - 1 to 50; NOT 1-5 then 10-20 then 30-50.
  4. Check for obvious errors such as student numbers or missing names, and arrange sheets so that they all face the same way and are upright.
  5. You can then submit the material to be marked in two ways:
    1. Drop off to Client Service, your Multiple Choice Marking Request Form, correct Answer Sheet [or correct Answer Sheets if you have sub-tests] and Student Answer Sheets. We will scan, do error corrections, and then produce reports which are emailed. The Student Answer Sheets will be returned as specified on your request sheet. 
    2. Via internal mail, to Client Service: your Multiple Choice Marking Request Form, correct Answer Sheet [or correct Answer Sheets if you have sub-tests] and Student Answer Sheets. We will scan, do error corrections, and then produce reports which are emailed. The Student Answer Sheets will be returned as specified on your request sheet. Note: The turnaround time for exams dropped off to Client Service [8:30 am to 4:20pm] is within 2 working days.
