Creating an Outlook.com Account
To create an Outlook.com account:
- Go to www.outlook.com
- Click Sign Up Now
- Complete the form and click Create Account?
Importing Your UQconnect Emails

Before completing the steps below, you will need to log into your Outlook.com account by going to www.outlook.com.
- Click the Cog icon (located in the top-right corner of your screen)
- Click Options from the menu
Click Import email accounts.
Click Other Email Provider
Type in your @uqconnect.net email address and password, then click Import.
If you are presented with the following screen, enter outlook.office365.com in the IMAP email server field, then click Import.
A message stating "We started importing ..." will appear. Click Close.
Your UQconnect emails will now be imported into your Outlook.com account. On the left side of your screen, there will be a link titled "Imported email@example.com" (where firstname.lastname@example.org is your UQconnect email address). You can click on this link to view the imported emails from your UQconnect account.
