ITS has negotiated volume hardware maintenance agreements with various IT hardware vendors.

These agreements attract volume discounts from the vendors which are passed on to participating organisational units.

In most cases maintenance is post-warranty only however some vendors also offer upgrades from their basic warranty.
Agreements offer various levels of support, ranging from basic parts only to full scale 24x7 onsite coverage.
Some of the larger agreements currently in place are those with Sun, Cisco and Dell.
